Yakima Valley is home to some of the finest and most mature vineyards in Washington State. Thanks to a cooler climate than much of the broader Columbia valley AVA, combined with some of the oldest vines, wines produced from Yakima Valley fruit have a distinctive flavor profile, and tend to have softer tannins. We currently source our delicious Merlot from Boushey Vineyard, one of the most sought after vineyards in Washington State. Boushey Vineyard fruit is found in many of Washington’s top wines, and we’re extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to work with veteran grower Dick Boushey. Dick is always willing to share his Washington wine industry insight and expertise, and we look forward to spending time with him whenever we get the chance.
