About Us
| Hestia Cellars is dedicated to producing wines of individual
character, richness, balance, and longevity. Located just outside of
Woodinville, Washington, the wines of Hestia Cellars are hand
crafted on a small private estate perched atop the Snoqualmie River
Valley. |
| We have developed a wine
program that is based on fruit sourced from the Horse Heaven Hills
appellation. Hestia Cellars sources fruit from Andrews and Discovery
vineyard, both of which are on the northern edge of the Horse Heaven
Hills. The soils of the northern edge are well known for producing extremely dark
colored and concentrated wines, with great natural
acidity. Fruit sourced from Boushey, Dineen, and StoneTree
vineyards in the Yakima Valley and Wahluke Slope appellations are
used to add complexity and unique layers of flavors and aromas to
the wines we produce. |
| Remaining a small family winery allows us to be intimate with
each and every barrel of wine in our cellar. All wines are moved by
gravity flow, and are bottled unfined and unfiltered. Cellar
techniques are continually fine tuned, as we identify opportunities
to enhance our wines. We have a passionate and uncompromised focus
on quality at every step in the life of our wines.
